"Antis" is a Lithuanian rock group formed at an architect's party. After deciding to continue their activity, the group became an important phenomenon in the history of Lithuanian rock and the country's Rebirth. In 1988, "Antis" was chosen as the most popular music group in Lithuania. The group's hits "Kažkas atsitiko," "Alyvos," "Zombiai" (a cover of the Australian group "Men at Work"), "Pokštas," "Ko tu stovi?" and many others are a part of the history of popular Lithuanian music. The group stood out with sharp and relevant lyrics in their albums "Antis" (1987), "Ša!" (1988), "Anties dovanėlė" (1989) by mocking the Soviet regime, bureaucracy, and urbanism.
